to receive H.E. Dr. Tony Tan Keng
Yam, President of Singapore and his
delegation on 26 April, as part of his
five-day state visit to Vietnam. The
event helped raise VSIP’s profile in-
ternationally to attract more quality
investments to the VSIP projects.
President Tan was impressed by the
province’s rapid infrastructure, eco-
nomic and social development, a
vast difference from what he saw 16
years ago during his first visit to Viet-
nam. Hewas also proud of Sembcorp,
the Singapore joint venture partner
of Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park
JV Co for its achievements inVietnam
and the Binh Duong province.
VSIP is a testament of the longstand-
To ensure that the firefighting team is ever ready to take on any crisis and emergencies, the VSIP firefighting team
conducted firefighting simulations on 27 April, 8 June and 29 June at the VSIP I’s office, VSIP II’s office and the VSIP
I’s power plant respectively. The team also conducted joint evacuation exercises with 38 VSIP tenants during the
first half of the year. These annual exercises help raise the park occupants’ awareness in firefighting and ensure
an effective emergency response.
Tenants of VSIP gathered to network at the first VSIP business networking session on April 20, 2012. The half a day event
was jointly organized by VSIP and America Accounting. Participants at the networking session had the opportunity to
discuss business interests and gained an insight fromDr. Lawson, Vice President of America Accounting on Performance
Management on how to measure the results and efficiency in business. Also present, was Mr Vu Quang Vinh – Senior
Marketing Manager of VSIP JV who provided the participants on the latest development and progress of VSIP projects.
