Vietnam – Singapore Smart Energy Solutions JSC (VSSES), a joint venture between Becamex IDC Corporation (Becamex IDC), Singapore’s Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp), and Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park J.V. Co (VSIP JV) was established with the aim to deliver sustainable smart energy solutions in Vietnam. VSSES has started with the provision of rooftop solar solutions to VSIP’s various integrated townships and industrial parks, as well as Becamex-owned industrial parks and facilities across Vietnam.

At the end of 2020, VSSES had implemented 2MWp of rooftop solar systems on the roofs of H.B Fuller Company Limited (Vietnam), EPE Packaging Vietnam Co., Ltd. and Digital Age Dental Laboratories Ltd in VSIP II-A - Binh Duong province successfully. These systems were completed on schedule as committed, meeting all EVN standards to connect to the national grid. They generate more than 2,650 MWh of electricity each year and reduce more than 2,420 tons of CO2 emissions annually which is equivalent to planting 29,217 new trees.
