VSIP Group currently has 13 industrial parks, and commercial & residential zones spread over nearly 10,362 hectares across Vietnam and provides infrastructure for 882 customers from 30 countries and territories. VSIP Can Tho – phase 1 will be developed with an area of 293.7 hectares in Vinh Thanh district, Can Tho city, and Can Tho province. Can Tho is located in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam, where the Central Government has announced a newly approved master plan to turn Can Tho into a commercial and service center of the region in the 2021-2030 period. Can Tho has the potential to build on the existing aquaculture and agriculture sectors, and at the same time increase its importance as a major food processing and distribution center, with planned infrastructure investment.

At the seminar, Vietnamese Ambassador Nguyen Vu Tung affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea will always accompany, connect and assist in solving difficulties of Korean enterprises in investing in Vietnam in general and in Can Tho in particular.

Mr. Duong Tan Hien, Vice Chairman of Can Tho City People's Committee also expressed the determination of Can Tho City Authorities in supporting and creating favorable conditions for investors to operate; also with the advantage of strategic location, solid infrastructure, skilled workforce, and investment incentives, Can Tho city is sure to become an attractive destination, bringing development opportunities for investors.

During a business trip in Seoul, on the morning of April 25, 2023, the delegation also had the opportunity to work and visit one of the largest warehouses with modern equipment of CJ Logistics located at Hwaseong city - CJ Dongtan Center with a total area of nearly 6 hectares. The warehouse is a B2B and B2C distribution center not only for the Seoul metropolitan area but also to the southern provinces of Korea. At the meeting, the delegation also expressed their desire to have CJ Logistic study, survey and expand investment in warehousing in Can Tho, in order to help the locality improve the quality of logistics services to existing investors as well as investors planning to invest in Can Tho.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation continued to visit and work with the Vietnam - Korea Business and Investment Association (VKBIA). On the side of VKBIA, Mr. Tran Hai Linh - Member of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of VKBIA, Mr. Kim Seok Pil, Mr. Jeong Sang Cheol, and Mr. John Park - Vice Chairman of VKBIA and representatives of members and Korean partner associations. Through the cooperation with VKBIA, Can Tho would like to connect with international investment funds, corporations, companies, and investors in Korea as well as to sign MOUs with similar and suitable provinces of Korea to promote cooperative relations between Korea and Can Tho.

On the last working day of the business trip, on the morning of April 26, 2023, the delegation of Can Tho City People's Committee, VCCI, and VSIP had a working session with KBIZ. On the side of KBIZ was the attendance of Mr. Jeong Yoon Mo – Executive Vice Chairman of the Korea Federation of SMEs and representatives of departments of the association. Through the meeting, Mr. Duong Tan Hien presented the characteristics and advantages of Can Tho thanks to the geographical location as well as the people of Can Tho. Besides, he also expressed his desire to have the opportunity to connect with KBIZ to get closer to Korean investors to attract investment in Can Tho city as well as the upcoming VSIP Can Tho project. .
