“Unlocking the Potential – A New Model of Living and Manufacturing in the North”
Hanoi, May 11, 2017 – VSIP JSC successfully organized a business forum “Unlocking the potential – a new model of Living and Manufacturing in the North” at Lotte Hotel Hanoi. The aim of this forum is to provide an overall picture of the investment environment and opportunities in the Northern Vietnam driving towards a sustainable development and how in today’s multifaceted economy in this fast-changing society incorporate living and working at one place.
This business forum is jointly arranged by VSIP JSC which consisted of VSIP Bac Ninh, VSIP Hai Phong and VSIP Hai Duong in collaboration with Foreign Investment Agency under Ministry of Planning and Development, Eurocham, Santomas and Baker McKenzie Vietnam. At the event, participants were provided insights from different perspectives and views ranging from the government to the business sector, from corporate to individual and from the investor to consultant. Numbers of topics encompassing the overview of investment regulations and updates, legal framework and guidelines, and an insight into the new living and manufacturing model as well as live experience sharing of living and doing business in Northern Vietnam were discussed at the forum.
Ms. Truong Minh Hanh, Marketing Director of VSIP Bac Ninh took to the stage to speak on “the implementation of the Model for Live, Learn, Work, and Play”. She took the occasion to introduce the integrated township and industrial park model as well as announce that the first commercial and residential self- development project of VSIP Bac Ninh named BelHomes expected to be launched in Q3/2017.
The business forum attracted 180 participants and opened great opportunities for VSIP to reach potential investors who expressed their interests in VSIP’s industrial projects and commercial projects.
Mr. Gellert Horvath – Vice Chairman of Eurocham, representing the principle voice of European business community in Vietnam, shared on the topic of “What opportunities will the EU-Vietnam FTA bring for the investors in Vietnam?”
Mr. Nguyen Noi – Deputy Director of FIA, presenting the voice from the designated administrative agency to promote and manage foreign investment in Vietnam, shared on the topic of “Overview of FDI in the North and new investment policy update”.
